Kotoko sign sponsorship deal with Forms Capital Ltd

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have secured a one- year sponsorship deal with Forms Capital Ltd in which outstanding players will be paid every month.

Under the deal, the financial company will present GH1000 to any player of the Porcupine Warriors who would be voted Player of the Month.

At the ceremony to formally announce the deal, the General Manager of Kotoko, Opoku Nti, was glad the package had come at the right time to help motivate their players, adding that player motivation was one key focus of the club.

While encouraging other companies to emulate the gesture of Forms Capital, he was optimistic the gesture would motivate the players to aspire to do better.  

Explaining their rationale for the sponsorship, the CEO of  Forms Capital, William Arthur, said they believed when players were well motivated, they tended to give of their best even in difficult times.

He said his outfit wanted to support football in the country and had, therefore, begun negotiations with other clubs to extend similar sponsorship package to them.
