Striker Emmanuel Antwi’s 30-metre blast in the 76th minute slipped through the hands of goalkeeper Baba Musa to separate the two sides.

There was little impact at goal from both teams as players from opposing sides lacked the finesse and the cutting edge for the opener before referee Theresa Bremansu blew the whistle for recess.

Back from recess, Liberty Professionals piled pressure on the visitors and left All Stars struggling to contain strikers Kennedy Ashia and Emmanuel Antwi.

All Stars, however, launched an onslaught later on but were wasteful in front of goal and did little to disturb goalkeeper Daniel Agyei.

In the 76th minute, a tap to striker Antwi a few metres away from the goal area by winger Michael Appiah saw him unleashing a powerful left-footed shot into the far left corner of the net to beat goalkeeper Baba Musa.

The visitors went in search of the equaliser but the Liberty defence remained resolute.
