Ghana's biggest, annual bodybuilding championship, Man Ghana 2016, will be staged at the RLG hall at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 29, 2016

The event, aimed at crowning the best bodybuilder in Ghana, is being organised by the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) .
The winner of this year’s event will represent Ghana in all international bodybuilding championships in 2017.
Since the maiden edition in 2006, the competition has seen six past winners — Samuel Asanti aka Obour in 2006, Christopher Atoh, aka Sabato in 2007, Kofi Salia, aka Asase in 2008,2009 and 2010 as well as Yaw Azure aka Sweat in 2012, John Anum aka Agogo in 2014 and Cyrille Kofi Adja in 2015.
Beside Asaase who successfully defended his title on two occasions, no champion had been able to defend his title, thus making this year’s competition open .
Briefing the media about the event, the vice president of the GBFA, Mr Samuel Agyei, said measures would be taken to ensure that the competition became keenly contested .
This, he said would make it produce the best to represent Ghana at the international level.
