Monaco, Saudi Arabia clubs chase Thomas Partey
Arsenal and Thomas Partey’s representatives are both working on potential exit solutions for the midfielder.
There is interest in the 30-year-old from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Arsenal will consider their options if a suitable opportunity arises for a sale.

The situation is not believed to be advancing rapidly and if Partey, whose contract runs until 2025, was to leave the Emirates then a replacement would be needed, in addition to Arsenal’s pursuit of Declan Rice.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Arsenal had seen a second bid for Rice rejected.
A proposal worth up to £90m (comprising a £75m fee and £15m in add-ons) has been turned down by their Premier League rivals, but Arsenal are getting closer to a fee that West Ham hope to achieve if their captain is to depart.
Partey moved to the Emirates in October 2020 from Atletico Madrid after Arsenal met his €50million (£45.4 million) release clause.
The Ghana international scored three goals in 33 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season as they finished runners-up to Manchester City.
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey (30) is attracting interest from AS Monaco, according to Ignazio Genuardi. The Ghanaian international midfielder’s representatives are working on a summer exit, according to The Athletic.

The Athletic have reported that there is interest from Saudi Arabia in the former Atletico Madrid midfielder, whose contract with The Gunners runs until 2025. However, according to Genuardi, there is also interest from Europe. Monaco are notably interested, as are clubs in Italy. The identities of the potential suitors in Serie A have yet to be revealed.
Monaco are likely to be in the market for a midfielder this summer. The Principality club looked to Arsenal in January and were interested in Sambi Lokonga before the Belgian instead made a loan move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace. However, Les Monégasques’ need for reinforcements could be more pressing this summer, given that Youssouf Fofana is being strongly linked with a departure.
