No Hearts player is indispensable — Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe

Aboard member of Accra hearts of oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has cautioned players of the club never to feel indispensable because each player is replaceable.

He said Hearts were endowed with talents and so no player should feel extra special, as if the club would not survive without him.

In his New Year message to the players, the outspoken former GFA boss said the team was on the path towards assuming its glorious days and urged the players to remain committed to the course of the club.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe said the club’s victory over their arch rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, in the Ghana@60 anniversary match without the services of some of the key players showed that no particular player was more important than the others.

Hearts are still battling with four of their key players — Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito, Vincent Atinga and Leonard Tawiah — over contractual disagreements, forcing the players to stay away from the said game.

Although Coach Frank Nuttal was ready to accept them back into the team, Dr Nyaho-Tamekloe said their absence would have little impact on the fortunes of Hearts as was evident during their goalless drawn game against Kotoko on Boxing Day at the Baba Yara Stadium.

“This victory shows that no player is indispensable and I want every player to know that the team would still do well without any single player,” he stated.

The Hearts director wished the team and the supporters well in the coming season and urged all to do their bit to ensure more successes this year.
