A brace from Josephine Boateng helped the policewomen secure their first three points having drawn and lost their previous two matches.

In the nothern zone, Ashtown Ladies finally broke the jinx against city rivals, Fabulous Ladies with a lone goal win from Helena Obeng as they seek to regain their place in women's football.

Also, Lepo Ladies stunned Ampem Darkoa by holding them to a 1-1 draw game at the Ohene Ameyaw Park at Techiman, a result that seem to have given hope to the other zone contenders that last season's zonal champions, who have scored 10 goals in three matches, are after all vincible.

In other results of the week, Northern Ladies shocked their fellow NWL debutants with a 5-0 win at the Tamale Stadium, while Prisons Ladies were 3-1 winners against Real Upper Ladies at Wa.

Down south, Hasaacas Ladies maintained their winning ways with a 3-1 win over Immigration Ladies at the Essipon Stadium and Halifax earned their first win over LadyStrikers with a 2-1 at the Maritime University Park.
