Second round Stanbic Bank/ Graphic Sports tennis resumes
The second round of the Stanbic Bank-Graphic Sports table tennis league will resume this weekend with teams striving to continue from where they left off in both the men and women’s events.
League leaders Tesano Spinners with key players Ajulo Gbenga, Favour Ayobame and Ayodele will prove their worth as a team to watch when they clash with Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA) on the opening day of the second round.
Defending champions, Immigration, eager to regain the top spot, have a cagey date with Synergy Table Tennis Club.
In the other matches, Police will meet Ashaiman Power Club with Madina Stars playing Western Table Tennis Club while the Ghana Army face Kings Royal Academy with Navy meeting Ashanti Otumfuo Stars.
The rest of the matches will witness Team Baboo engaging Fire Service. Team Coach Addo will play SmartLine@Emefs and Eastern Loopers gets a bye.
In the women’s event, Tesano Spinners will play Team Coach Addo, Army will also play Ashanti Otumfuo Stars while Western Table Tennis Club will be on stand by.
Police and Navy face off in the opening game, with Immigration up against Madina Club and GRA playing SmartLine@Emefs.
