The two-hour walk,  which formed part of the 20th anniversary of the YPG, started from the church premises through CPC  to  Krofrom and  Manhyia before ending at the starting point with an aerobic exercise and some health tips.

During the walk, participants distributed stickers on road safety and interacted with motorists and pedestrians to observe safety on the road to reduce accidents.

Speaking after the exercise, the president of the YPG, Mr Richard Opoku, urged members to undertake periodic exercises for them to maintain good health.

Mr James Owusu-Amoah, Director of Administration of SSO, said there was the need for continuous traffic education to reduce road accidents.

“The frequent news on road accidents are worrying and we need to intensify road safety education to halt fatalities on the road”, he said.
