Stanbic Bank-Graphic Sports Table Tennis League: Loopers maintain winning run

League leaders Tesano Spinners continued their winning streak and consolidated their position after they thrashed Fire Service 3-0 in the male division of the Stanbic Bank-Graphic Sports Table Tennis League last Saturday at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium.

In the fourth week fixture of the second round, Spinners beat one of the highly rated teams in the league in the second match of the day, having earlier defeated Eastern Loopers 3-0 in the first match.

Hot on their heels are Immigration who beat Team Baboo 3-0 in their first match and then followed it up with a 3-0 thrashing of Ashanti Otumfuo Stars in their second match.

In other matches played on the fourth week, Army defeated Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-0, Team Coach Addo lost 0-3 to Navy, Synergy lost 1-3 to Kings Royal Academy and Police beat Western Table Tennis Club 3-0

In the rest of the weekend’s matches, Army beat Eastern Loopers 3-0, Madina Stars lost 2-3 to Navy, Kings Royal Academy won 3-0 over Team Coach Addo, Western Table Tennis Club beat Ashaiman Power Club 3-1 and the Ghana Revenue Authority beat Synergy 3-0.

The women’s division saw Tesano Spinners beat Madina Stars 3-0, Western Table Tennis Club lost 0-3 to Tam Coach Addo, Army lost 1-3 to Police the Ghana Revenue Authority beat Immigration 3-2.

The rest of the women’s matches saw Tesano Spinners beat Navy 3-0, Police beat Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-0, Immigration lost 0-3 to Team Coach Addo, and Ghana Army beat Ghana Revenue Authority 3-1.
