Supercar Spectacle set to light up Borteyman Complex

Ghana’s car lovers are in for a high-octane treat this festive season as the maiden Supercar Spectacle roars into the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra on December 21, promising a dazzling showcase of luxury, lifestyle and adrenaline-fuelled fun.

Conceived by three visionary young men — Ibrahim Mahama Jnr, Arnold Agbolosu, and Jaiden Osei, all under 25 — the event aims to celebrate Ghana’s growing car culture while introducing a fresh wave of entertainment that merges speed, music, and youth energy. Early bird tickets are already selling fast for what organisers describe as “the biggest auto show in Ghana and Africa.”

Fans can look forward to a day packed with go-karting, drifting, bike stunts, gaming zones, supercar exhibitions, and live music performances by an A-list artiste, blending the roar of engines with the rhythm of music for an adrenaline-charged celebration.

The event’s official launch at the Accra Polo Club last Saturday gave a taste of what was to come — a dazzling display of Lamborghinis, Porsches, Mercedes-Benzes, and Audis that turned heads and ignited excitement among car lovers and enthusiasts.

High-profile guests, including business mogul Ibrahim Mahama (father of one of the founders), former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew, and media personality Kwadwo Adisi (Bola Ray), graced the launch and pledged their support for the December show.

“We just want to reignite the car culture in Ghana. We have the cars, but we’re not showing them — so why not? It will be a festival of supercars,” said Ibrahim Mahama Jnr.

“Today marks the beginning of something big and exciting. This will be the biggest auto show in Ghana and Africa, bringing together supercars, lifestyle, entertainment, and pure adrenaline in one place,” he added.

With its bold vision, youthful energy, and star-studded backing, the Supercar Spectacle looks set to rev up Ghana’s entertainment calendar and give the country’s vibrant car community a stage like never before.
