FIFPRO announces Men’s World XI for 2025 – See who made the list

FIFPRO, the global union for professional footballers, has announced the Men’s World XI for 2025.

With over 25,000 members worldwide, FIFPRO invites its members each year to vote for the best players based on their performances over the previous 12 months.

The FIFPRO Men’s World XI finalists are the 26 male footballers who received the most votes from their peers for their performances between 15 July 2024 and 3 August 2025 (inclusive). To qualify, players must have appeared in at least 30 official matches during that period.

Similarly, the FIFPRO Women’s World XI finalists are the 26 female footballers who earned the most votes for their performances between 11 August 2024 and 3 August 2025 (inclusive), with a minimum of 20 official appearances required.

Leading the attack are Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, and Ousmane Dembélé, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer joins Jude Bellingham in midfield.

Gianluigi Donnarumma earns his spot in goal following his Champions League heroics, with former Paris Saint-Germain teammates Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes also included.

Notably, there is no place for Mohamed Salah or Erling Haaland this year.
