SWAG congratulates new MTN CEO
The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has sent a congratulatory message to Mr Ebenezer Twum Asante on his appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN Ghana.

Mr Twum assumed his new position on July 1 after serving for two years as the CEO of MTN Rwanda.
In a statement signed by SWAG President, Mr Kwabena Yeboah, and copied to the media, the association noted that thrilled by Mr Twum’s appointment, particularly as the first Ghanaian to head the country’s biggest mobile telecom operator, with whom SWAG has a long-standing relationship.
MTN is the headline sponsor of the SWAG Awards Night, the country’s longest-running awards programme, which honours the country’s most outstanding sports personalities; it also sponsors other programmes of the association.
“On behalf of the Council of Patrons, executive and members of SWAG, I wish to convey my heartfelt congratulations to you on your appointment as the CEO of MTN Ghana, the country’s biggest mobile telecom operator and a strong partner of this august association in the promotion of sports.”
