Tagoe Quarcoo makes 3 changes to Queens starting line up against Niger
Coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo has made three changes to Ghana's starting line up against Niger in the second Group A game at the ongoing WAFU Zone B women's tournament in Abidjan.
Having lost their opening game 0-1 to hosts, Cote d'Ivoire last Wednesday, the Queens need a convincing win at all cost against Niger to get their WAFU campaign back on track.
The changes will see Philicity Asuako, Alice Kusi who both came on as substitutes in the opening game against Cote d'Ivoire, will start just as Ruth Appiah who was an unused sub.
With the changes, there will be changes in roles as well with Faustina Ampah and Asuako pairing up in central defence while Janet Egyir plays right in front of the back four and just behind the midfielders.
Captain Portia Boakye will lead the attack.
