AAG elects new executives
The Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG) has elected its new executives who will be stirring the affairs of the association for the next two years.

The new executives include, Mr Joel Edmund Nettey who was elected as President, Mrs Mansa Amowuah, as Vice President and Mr Martin Osei as Treasurer.
The association also elected new executive council members who will be helping the new executives to carry out their mandate for the next two years.
The new executives were elected during the association’s Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) which was held on May 28, in Accra.
The outgoing President of the Association, Mrs Norkor Duah, in her opening address stated that, the new executives and the council members would have the right to be retained after their two years was over if they performed creditably.
She said the association had started its professional development programmes with successful courses already held.
In addition, she said the association had improved its relationship with its partners across the various district assemblies and had enhanced its ability to communicate with members.
Mrs Norkor Duah also disclosed that the association would play host to an international conference which was set to come off in November this year.
She stated that the conference, which had been dubbed “Ghana rising, the new consumer generation” had never been held on the continent in decades and according to her, this creates an opportunity for its members to get involved to project the industry.
“This is our industry and this is our livelihood, it can only get better if you and I come on board and move it forward”, she added.
The President elect, Mr Joel Edmund Nettey, thanked the association for the confidence it had reposed in him and the other executive members.
He promised to work together with the executive council, the members and the secretariat which was now made up of an Executive Director, an Operations Manager, an Outdoor Co-ordinator, an Accountant and a Secretary.
