The aligned SDGs to be focused on are zero hunger, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequalities and partnerships to achieve the goal.

I-GLOBAL is leading in the organisation of the maiden edition of the Africa Transformation Summit (AFRITRANS) in Ghana.

AFRITRANS 2022 was launched under the theme "Propelling Africa into a Frontier of Innovation and Digital Wealth Creation'.

It will bring together over 1000 people from government, the corporate world, non-profits, startups, and entrepreneurs as well as young students.

The vision of this project is to be “Africa’s leading innovation festival, connecting innovation and resources for a continental transformation”, thus, encouraging and empowering innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit among the youth and also helping bridge the digital gap on the continent.

Personalities expected at the event who are helping create the long-awaited digital transformation in Africa includes Gilles Amadou from Senegal, Isaiah Brian Sovi from Zambia, Mark Pritchard, Country Manager for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Anthony Sarpong, Senior Partner at KPMG Ghana, Irma Ihumure, CEO and Founder of Global WIN Ltd based in Rwanda, and many other personalities.

Touching on the purpose and timing of the event, Daniel Sarpong Jnr, the Founder and Executive Director of Impact Network Global said he strongly believes that "It is time for Africa to rise and propel itself into a frontier of growth, digital wealth creation, and innovation. Africa today has seen high levels of unemployment leading to chaos and vices.

"Africa is the future; given our youthful population, ingenious solutions and the resources Africa is blessed with," he added.

AFRITRANS is a fire blazing over Africa as the tour kick-starting on September 3 in Accra will make stops in Rwanda, Morocco, Kenya, South Africa and six other countries in the next 10 years.

The kickoff will have three keynote speakers, two panels with five speakers on each panel, four virtual masterclass sessions.
