Alisa Hotel Tema marks New Year with donations and outreach in Tema
Alisa Hotel Tema has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and stakeholder collaboration with a series of donations and courtesy visits to mark the New Year.
As part of its corporate social responsibility activities, the hotel donated a computer with accessories and a printer to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Community 11 Police Station in Tema. The donation is intended to enhance the unit’s operational capacity in providing support to victims and strengthening justice delivery within the community.
The Unit Coordinator, ASP Caroline Tetteh Mensah, expressed appreciation on behalf of the team, saying “having the needed IT equipment will greatly enhance our operations and dealings with the community.” The presentation was witnessed by Inspector Charlotte Oti-Okyere and Chief Inspector Irene Appiah-Asante, the Station Officer for the unit.

In a related engagement, Alisa Hotel Tema paid a courtesy call on the Tema Traditional Council, during which a cash donation was made to support the council’s operations. The visit highlighted the hotel’s recognition of traditional leadership and its role in preserving cultural heritage and promoting community cohesion.
The hotel also visited the Chief Executive of the Tema Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ebi Bright, as part of efforts to strengthen stakeholder relations and explore areas of collaboration aimed at advancing the socio-economic development of the municipality.
Speaking on the initiatives, the General Manager of Alisa Hotel Tema, Mr Stephen Mulu Nzavi, said the activities reflected the hotel’s broader philosophy of responsible corporate citizenship. “At Alisa Hotel Tema, we believe that hospitality goes beyond our doors. By supporting institutions that safeguard our communities and engaging with key stakeholders, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the growth and well-being of Tema and its people,” he stated.

The hotel said the engagements form part of its wider vision to champion excellence in hospitality while playing an active role in community development and stakeholder partnerships.
