Ghanaian wins Ethiopian Airlines global logo competition
Founder of DreamBrander, an advertising company based in Kumasi, Nii Okai Koi Adjaidoo, has been adjudged winner of the Ethiopian Airlines Global Logo competition.

The competition was part of the Airlines’ 70th anniversary and was aimed at getting a logo for the celebrations.
For his prize, Nii Adjaidoo won two Ethiopian Airlines economy class tickets to any destination of his choice with some spending money.
Speaking at the presentation, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Ghana, Mrs Gifty Abasiya Ababulgu, congratulated Nii Adjaidoo for showing a great deal of creativity in the logo.
She said while busily bringing Africa together through improved air services, the airlines had also focused on being Africa’s link to the world by expanding its international route network.
“For the past 60 years, this pioneering airline has been driven by a Pan-African vision and a zeal to develop air links across the continent, thereby facilitating travel, trade, tourism and economic development in Africa,” she said.
"The commitment to excellence of Ethiopian Airlines is manifested by the significant investment it has made over the years in new aircraft," she added.
She said the airline sought to further upgrade its aircraft to offer better services to Africa and connect the world.
Nii Adjaidoo commended the management of the airline for recognising his creativity and his team for a good work done in bringing out their best in the competition.
Ethiopian Airlines is a truly indigenous Pan-African global carrier that operates the youngest and the most modern fleet on the continent with an average aircraft age of less than seven years.
Ethiopian Airlines currently serves 91 international destinations across five continents with over 232 daily departures.
The airlines' fleet includes ultra-modern and environmentally friendly aircraft such as the Boeing 787, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-200 Freighter and Bombardier Q-400 with double cabin.
