Ashfoam showroom inaugurated at Ntsin in Cape Coast
A foam manufacturing company, Ashfoam has inaugurated a new showroom in Ntsin, a community in the Cape Coast South Constituency.
The facility, the second to be established in the central region, is expected to generate employment in the fishing community and also enhance development.
In a remark, the biggest distributor, Mr Collins K. Ohene, indicated that it was the desire of the company to improve the socio-economic fortunes of the area, through job creation.

He said the area initially deterred the company because of its location, but “we remained resolute in our quest to create jobs in all locality and succeeded in achieving that aim”.
Mr Ohene urged residents to support the facility by patronising the goods in the shop such as mattresses, bedsheets, pillows, duvets, curtains, carpets, sofas, centre tables, towels and rugs to ensure the boosting of business.
He expressed appreciation to the land owners for releasing the land and supporting the efforts of the shop owners, stressing that “our efforts are not in vain”.
Job creation
The marketing manager of the company, Nana Yaw Ampeh-Darko, said the over 1,000 showrooms across the country had created more than 5,000 jobs for the various communities.
“I’m delighted our people in Cape Coast South will enjoy the Yuletide with quality products at a reduced cost”, he said.
Positive attitude
The Tufuhen of Oguaa Traditional Area, Nana Kwame Edu VI, called on the youth who would be employed to show positive attitudes towards work to enable employers to have confidence in them and allow businesses to thrive.

“If business thrives there is bound to be development in our communities”, he stressed.
