Hatchery Business Club launched in Accra
Hatchery Business Club (HBC) is to give soft loans to the youth and guide on how to start their own businesses.
Speaking at the launch of Hatchery Business Club (HBC) in Accra last week, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Mr Richard Osei Anim said the initiative was to help reduce the high unemployment rate in the country.
“I am constantly reminded about the figure of the employment rate and any contribution that my company can make to reduce that figure is our main aim” he said at the launch.
According to him, the company has chalked a lot of successes since its establishment last year, helping young individuals and companies to grow their businesses.
“Echohouse, Translight Solar and Saltious are a few companies we have worked with and we are proud they loved our services” he said
Asked what the company provides if one walks up to them, Mr Anim said the company will only have familiarise itself with a client’s business before providing the needed support, advise and strategy for that business.
Ms Beryl Ayaaba of Echohouse shared her experiences on how she started Echohouse as a student back in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and how she built a formidable business targeting the youth demographic and how she won major accounts with clients such as Vodafone Ghana, Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and other large brands.
Mr Kobina Nyanteh of Translight Solar who after relocating from the United States of America (USA) said business has been smooth. —GB
