International Customer Service Summit to spotlight customer loyalty in Accra
Accra will host the 4th edition of the International Customer Service Summit (ICUSS 2025) on October 10, with leading African business figures expected to gather at the Tang Palace Hotel to discuss the future of customer service on the continent.
The summit, endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MOTCA) and the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), will run under the theme “Unlocking Customer Loyalty through Proactive and Predictive Service.” Organisers say the event marks a pivotal shift from reactive support to anticipating customer needs, equipping businesses with tools to deepen loyalty and drive profitability.
“This is more than a conference; it is the cornerstone event celebrating Customer Service Week across the globe,” the organisers stated. It will bring together CEOs, business owners, managers and public officials to shape strategies for outstanding service delivery across sectors.
Keynote speaker Dr Emmanuel Dei-Tumi, a leadership and business growth expert, will lead discussions on how firms can harness technology and new methodologies to meet changing customer expectations. Other confirmed speakers include Lady Dentaa Amoateng (MBE), Bright Ladzekpo, Nana Yaa Serwa Sarpong, and Cameroonian business strategist Herman Wandji.
Priscilla Wellington Asante, Chief Executive Officer of Customer Service Africa, which is organising the event, stressed that the summit aims to transform service delivery across the continent. “We are on a mission to transform customer service in Africa, moving from a support function to a core business strategy that directly fuels loyalty and revenue. ICUSS 2025 is the platform where this transformation begins,” she remarked.
The event is being supported by a coalition of partners including Green Trek Tours, AFRIMASS, Ellaven Consult, REPUTE-Burson, Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Hotels Association, STAMES, MNotify, EASTAGG and Soul Impact. Sponsorship has also been secured from The African Regent Hotel and Leather On Call GH. Media partners include Joy FM, Joy News, Joy Business, JoyPrime, GBC and GhOne.
ICUSS 2025 will feature stage performances, workshops and interactive sessions aimed at building a culture of excellence in customer relations across Africa. Registration is currently open via the summit’s official portal, with organisers encouraging early sign-ups to secure seats at what they describe as Africa’s premier customer service event.
