Karen Hendrickson named among Ghana’s 100 Most Influential People for 2024
Karen A.S. Hendrickson, a Pan-African media and lifestyle expert, transformation specialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, has been recognised as one of Ghana’s 100 Most Influential People for 2024.
Her inclusion in this prestigious list underscores her outstanding contributions to sustainable development and innovation across Africa.

With a career spanning over four decades in banking, healthcare, and aviation, Hendrickson exemplifies reinvention and resilience. Originally from Jamaica, her transformative journey in Africa began two decades ago in Ghana, where she has left an indelible mark on various industries.
Currently serving as the Managing Director of Ancillary and Loyalty Programs at MalaikAir, Hendrickson is driving customer-centred innovation in African aviation. Her influence also extends to her role as a board member of the McDan Group, where she advocates for excellence and forward-thinking strategies.
During her tenure as CEO of Rabito Clinic Limited, she spearheaded the nationwide expansion of healthcare services and played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her philanthropic efforts are equally noteworthy, with significant support for over 250 children’s heart surgeries in Ghana.
Hendrickson also uses her platform, Visual Orator Inc., to empower African storytelling and nurture future leaders, further demonstrating her commitment to fostering socio-economic growth and cultural empowerment.
