NDK to launch CSR foundation

NDK Financial Services will on Thursday July 21 launch a  Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation at its 25th Anniversary Lecture at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

An initial seed money of Ghc2million has been set aside for running the foundation. 

The launch, according to the non-banking financial institution is part of its quest to contribute effectively to socio economic development of Ghana through education, infrastructure and sports. 

It will coincide with the NDKS 25th Anniversary Lecture to be attended by dignitaries from all walks of life. 

The Guest Speaker for the lecture is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ernest Aryeetey. 

He will speak on the theme: The Politics of Educational Reforms in Ghana. 

The event will create a platform to interrogate various educational policies that have been implemented and to evaluate their impact on Ghana’s development agenda with respect to human capital development. 

The Chairman for this event is Mr. Anis Haffar, an Educationist, Trainer of Teachers, and Author.  

According to the Managing Director of NDK Financial Service Oko Nikoi Dzani, his company pride itself in giving back to society after being in existence for twenty five years. “

Recognizing education as a powerful tool in Social and Economic Development, NDK has over the years sponsored students through the tertiary and secondary education levels. 

NDK currently sponsors the educational needs of four (4) students at the Tertiary and SHS levels. The company in the past has sponsored brilliant medical students within the Osu community and these individuals are qualified doctors now.
