Samsung to unveil AI-powered Galaxy S series at February 25 Unpacked
Samsung Electronics has announced that it will unveil a new Galaxy S series smartphone line later this month, promising a more seamless and personalised artificial intelligence experience for users.
The global technology giant says the upcoming devices are designed to “remove friction from the things you do every day”, with a focus on simplifying routine interactions and integrating Galaxy AI more naturally into everyday mobile use.
In a statement ahead of the launch, the company said the new Galaxy S series is “built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence, and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”
The unveiling will take place during Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco. The company described the launch as marking “a new phase in the era of AI as intelligence becomes truly personal and adaptive.”
The event will be streamed live globally, including in Ghana, via Samsung.com, the Samsung Newsroom and the company’s official YouTube channel, beginning at 6 p.m. GMT.
While specific details of the devices remain under wraps, the emphasis on artificial intelligence signals Samsung’s continued push to embed advanced AI tools directly into its flagship smartphones, making them more intuitive and responsive to individual user behaviour.
Samsung is also encouraging consumers to register ahead of the event for exclusive updates and promotional opportunities. According to the announcement, those who sign up at samsung.com/unpacked will receive “all upcoming teasers, trailers, updates, and a chance to win Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Buds, or the SUPERSIZED 98” Crystal UHD TV.”
The company’s messaging suggests that the new Galaxy S series will go beyond incremental hardware upgrades, positioning AI at the centre of the user experience as smartphone manufacturers compete to redefine how devices anticipate and adapt to users’ needs.
With Galaxy Unpacked traditionally serving as the platform for Samsung’s most significant mobile launches, industry watchers will be keen to see how the latest S series advances the company’s AI ambitions and how it differentiates itself in an increasingly competitive premium smartphone market.
