Starlife Assurance donates GH¢43,000 to three institutions

This donation was made in quick response to a general appeal made to corporate Ghana by the Ghana National Fire Service Training School.

This was motivated by the fact that well-trained, skillful and professional fire men will help prevent and mitigate fire disasters in Ghana.

The Chief Fire Officer of Ghana Fire Service, Brig. Gen. J.B.E. Guyiri, thanked the StarLife team and said, “this would improve service quality at the training school; I urged other corporate institutions to emulate this shining example.”

Ghana’s only Children’s Hospital, Princess Marie-Louise Hospital, also received its share of the StarLife’s social responsibility cake.

The package covered the refurbishment of three of its consulting rooms at a cost of GH¢13,500.  Other items presented were fridges, air conditioners and blinds, among others.

At the commissioning ceremony, the Managing Director, Mr George Kojo Addison, reiterated the need to provide quality healthcare for children.

He indicated that StarLife was a future oriented company and believed in the future leaders and would like to see every child realise his or her dreams and aspirations.

He explained that the belief in the Ghanaian child motivated StarLife to introduce a more comprehensive child education policy aimed at providing quality yet affordable education for the child even when his or her parents or guardians were not in the position to meet their educational needs.

The Medical Director of the Princess Marie-Louis, Dr Sifah, and his team of doctors expressed their deepest appreciation to Starlife for its support.

Quality service and professionalism at StarLife has been acknowledged by industry watchers and as a result, the company was awarded Corporate Customer Service Ambassador for 2012–2013 by the Ghana Customer Service Association.

StarLife currently operates in all the 10 regional capitals and some district capitals. It has also introduced Saturday Assurance at its head office to provide convenience for its numerous customers and potential clients in accessing products information and services.

To quote the Senior Business Development Manager at StarLife, Mr Iddrisu Nashiru,’’we want to make the StarLife brand a household name and are ready and prepared to provide market leadership in innovative need-based life solutions.”
