Sterling International wins best chemical company award
Sterling International has been adjudged the best company in the chemical sector at the 6th Ghana Industry and Quality Awards, which was organised by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI).
The company topped all the shortlisted companies in chemical sector after a process of vetting and evaluation by the AGI Awards Technical Committee consisting of experts from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The event, which had the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, as the guest of honour, was organised to celebrate and honour member companies for quality made-in-Ghana products while marking the 59th year of AGI and the 60th anniversary of Ghana’s independence.
Sterling International has received several Gold and Platinum awards since 2011 from the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) for export excellence and repatriation of highest export proceeds in Ghana from exports.
The company has been cited consistently for manufacturing best quality Automotive Refinish paints, Marine, Protective, Industrial Coatings, adhesives and sealants for the export market.
The Managing Director of Sterling International, Mr Arun Patil, expressed his gratitude to AGI for the recognition and honour done to the company and attributed the achievement to pursuit of research and development, excellent team work and quality assurance.
The President of AGI, Mr James Asare-Adjei, commended the award winners for their achievements, while commending the GSA for extending a helping hand to the association to ensure that international quality standards were met by local industries.
