UniBank Ghana launches “Dash for 200K” Promo

UniBank Ghana Limited, an indigenous bank, has launched its "Dash for 200k" promotion in a bid to show immense appreciation to its cherished and loyal customers across the country.

In order to increase the chances of customers with branches outside Accra, the promotion, described as unparalleled, would feature two mini-draws on a zonal basis and a final draw.

The ultimate winner will take home GH¢200,000, while the two zonal winners will win GH¢50,000 each, with other winners taking 37 consolation prizes ranging from flat screens, sets of furniture, washing machines, refrigerators, home theatres and many more.

The first zonal draw would be held on October 17, 2014 in Kumasi and the second one on November 20, 2014 at Techiman, while the final draw will take place on December 15, this year.

The promotion, which would be supervised by the National Lotteries Authority, would run from September 15, 2014 to December 15, 2014 after which the ultimate draw will be held.

Eligibility

Addressing the launching ceremony, the General Manager in charge of Operations of the bank, Mr Clifford Mettle, said all current, savings, goal saver, uniFund as well as SME plus account holders and new customers were eligible to participate in the promotion.

"You do not need to be an existing customer before you can participate. Just walk to any uniBank branch with a minimum of GHc100 and you are part of the promotion," he said.

He said the bank had been a vanguard in the delivery of excellent customer care and continued to satisfy banking and financial needs of its customers.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank, Mr Felix Nyarko-Pong, in an address which was read on his behalf, said in a spate of less than a year the bank had packaged exciting promos in the country, all with the aim of satisfying its customers.

“We launched the ‘dream and drive’ promotion in August, 2013, our maiden promotion which was geared towards showing appreciation to our cherished customers”, he pointed out.

He said as part as the bank’s corporate support to the Black Stars, it organised the “Let’s go Brazil” promo to whip up national support and send lucky customers to watch the tournament in Brazil. 

The CEO said the bank had signed a historic three-year sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association and the Black Stars worth $1.2 million.
