Vlisco unveils new collection

As part of efforts to boost Ghana’s textile and fashion industry, the Vlisco Group, renowned for its 180-year legacy in premium wax prints, has unveiled a new collection.

Christened: “Satin Royal”, the new collection is manufactured from exceptionally high-quality yarns, that make the fabric stands out as a unique, supple, and lightweight product.

The launch comes at a crucial time when Ghana's fashion industry is experiencing remarkable growth and seeking to position itself as a major player in Africa's fashion market.

It aligns with Ghana's peak fashion season, where traditional ceremonies, christmas parties, and new year celebrations create a heightened demand for distinctive clothing.

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Marketing Manager at Tex Styles Gh Ltd, Ruben Sam, said “Satin Royal embodies refined luxury. Its airy drape gracefully follows every movement, ensuring natural comfort throughout the day.”

He described the fabric as unique one for fashion creators who have been seeking high-quality materials that combine traditional African aesthetics with modern luxury.

He urged the retail sector which sees its highest sales during the festive period to take advantage of the new collection as consumers are more inclined to invest in high-quality clothing for special occasions.
