MTN steps out big with annual MTN Business Fair

Telecommunications market leader, MTN, will Wednesday outdoor an annual MTN Business Fair in the capital, Accra as it seeks to propagate its growing strengths as a solid business solutions provider.

Always the biggest player in Ghana’s voice market, MTN has added to its portfolios an array of technology-based services it says businesses - SMEs, small offices, large corporate entities or multinationals - could grow their fortunes on.

Top of the mind products and services include Dedicated Internet, MTN Cloud, Vehicle Tracking, Mobile Money, Eaziphones, Audio Conference, 1188 Directory Services, and MTN Corporate Voice Package, which will be on the stands at the fair.

The company holds versions of the fair in the Western and Northern business districts of the country and the Accra rollout will be to serve MTN Business’ principal operations base.

Added objectives of the annual fair will be to showcase the various technology solutions available to businesses and how technology can be used as an enabler to empower businesses regardless of size and industry.

The launching comes off at the Alisa Hotel (Ridge Arena) and will feature main speakers Alex Adjei-Bram (CEO, SMSGH), Louis Amenyo Adanuty (CEO, Teksol), Ebow Bentil (CIO, Rancard Solutions) and Michael Ghartey (Key Accounts Manager (ISP & Bulk Carriers, MTN Business).

Corporate communications officials believe MTN Business has a wide variety of technologies, products and services that many businesses do not know about, while many of these organizations are also unaware of how these technologies can be used to empower their businesses to maximize productivity.

The MTN Business Fair will thus seek to demystify the bouquet of technology solutions provided by MTN Business and bring together business leaders that are not exposed to the total service offerings of voice, ICT and financial services solutions.

“Again, it seeks to impart knowledge on how these services can transform their business and reduce their operational expenditures. The fair will expose Businesses to global practices that can be replicated by local businesses to achieve global standards in a cost effective manner, as well as seek to engage other key players in multiple industries, as speakers and facilitators, some of which have used MTN business to further improve their organizational efficiencies to provide real life cases of the adoption of technology, solutions and how their businesses have been impacted.”
