Caroline marks 10 years in radio
In a chat with Showbiz on Monday, Caroline said a decade in the industry is just the beginning for her. “ I am going to get better and cash in more until I bow out”.
Recounting her broadcast journey from Atlantis Radio in 2005, through GTV, Citi FM, TV3, ETv, Viasat 1 and finally YFM in 2011, Caroline said she has not regretted working in the various media houses. “ It has given me the opportunity to learn alot to establish myself as one of the finest presenters on radio.

According to Caroline who currently hosts Shouts On Y on YFM, her interest in radio and TV started after she emerged as a finalist at the third edition of popular reality television pageant, Miss Malaika. “I seized the opportunity to start a career in the media and I was determined to succeed. You know, I do not have any formal training in electronic media but I was determined to succeed in life so I learnt on the job.
“ Also, another thing that kept me going was my son. Along the line, I had my son and he became part of my driving force”, she added.
However, to the 2009 winner of Presenter of the Year at the Stars Integration of Culture, Africa (SICA) in Benin, inspiration can come from any corner of the globe so she does not restrict herself and that keeps her getting better at what she loves doing.
Caroline who sees herself venturing into events planning and production soon, is grateful to Kwame Farkye of Live FM, Jessica Opare Saforo of Citi FM and the late Kofi Ansah who have supported her in diverse ways throughout her career.
