Destiny is a song that tells of the struggles Cano Z went through before his breakthrough on the music scene.

He said despite the many hurdles, he has “arrived” and nothing would stop him from enjoying success in his career since he has learned the ropes of the game as an underground artiste for many years.

Cano Z, who placed second at the MTN Hitmaker 2, is no stranger to good raps and that was what he delivered on Destiny. Even though he rapped on the song, Cano Z also proved he has a great voice when he sang the chorus.

Flow Kingstone was also on hand to spice up the content with his style of rap and rightly so as the duo gelled perfectly. Cano Z raps on the song that his enemies should stop wasting their time on him because nothing will make him quit what he loves to do.

“It hasn’t been easy for me to release my own songs. The journey has been long but I thank God I have finally arrived,” he stated.

Real name, Gilbert Delali Bosu Aforve, Cano Z has other songs like Chebelebe and Tsorkordedzi.

Under the management of 2131, Cano Z said he is working on his 15 track album titled, Canonised, and he is hopeful to make a successful career after studying the “music game for many years”.

“I have been silent after placing second at the MTN hitmaker in 2013 but the wait is over because I am in to stay. I won’t be a one- time hitmaker but promise to churn out good songs,” he stated.

Cano Z has been managing his  barbering shop  since he completed his secondary education at Bishop Herman College at Kpando, Volta Region.

He also enrolled part-time at Ghallywood and studied acting and introduction to modelling.
