Davido offers Sunyani SHS student who got 8As scholarship to his father's university
Afrobeats musician, Davido has offered a scholarship to a Ghanaian student who aced his 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) but couldn’t further his education due to lack of funds.
The Sunyani Senior High School student, Morro Suleyman, got As in eight different subjects in the exams which qualify many West Africans for entry into university.
However, the needy student could not further his education because of a lack of funds.

His plight led to his story being shared on social media platforms including micro-blog Twitter.

On getting to know the story, Davido known in his private life as David Adedeji Adeleke in a post on Twitter said Suleyman had been given a scholarship to Adeleke University, a private-owned institution, located in Ede, one of the popular towns in Osun State, Southwestern Nigeria.
“We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke university .. accommodation and allowance included ! God bless y’all,” Davido posted.
The university was established by Davido's multi-millionaire father Chief Adedeji Adeleke through the Springtime Development Foundation (SDF), a philanthropic, non-profit organisation established by Chief Adedeji to assist less privileged students in obtaining a quality higher education.
