Gdaddy, 32, who has been a dancer for more than a decade, has performed at Kidafest, Funworld among others.

He, who has worked with artistes such as Slim Busterr, FBS and Paa Tee, is out with his first single, Abrukutu ft Phil Stone from Congo.

On Abrukutu, recorded by Braema in Nsawam, Gdaddy expresses love to his woman, telling her she is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

Gdaddy, real name, Samuel Kojoe Akornor, goes on to say that he likes the way his lady cooks for him and does all the house chores without complaining.

He promises to take her to the skies and treat her like a queen because she has been a good woman ever since they met.

Although Phil Stone was not very audible on the song, his soft voice played a crucial role in appealing to any listener.

In an interview with Showbiz, Gdaddy revealed that Abrukutu is big in Congo because of Phil Stone.

“I acknowledge that Phil Stone did well on the song and it is the reason the song is big in Congo. I have had the chance to visit Congo and I was amazed how great the song is doing there. It is yet to blow up in Ghana and I have no doubts it will become one of the big songs in 2016,” he said.

He explained that Abrukutu is a Congolese word that means expression. According to him, he loved the word so much after hearing it from a friend.

Although he is new in the music business, Gdaddy a former student of Accra Technical Training College (ATTC), said Ghanaians should watch out for him.
