Joe Mettle hosts My Love Gift

The Aviation Social Centre will be the place for families to socialise come Sunday, December 20, when contemporary gospel artiste, Joe Mettle, hosts a family day out dubbed, My Love Gift.

According to the Ghana Music Awards Male Vocalist of the Year winner, the event is to give parents the “lost” opportunity to spend time with their children, one that has been eluded due to busy work schedules.

To make the show an eventful and a fun filled one, the organisers have put in place many activities to excite patrons apart from the music that will be dished out by Joe Mettle and his Love Gift Band.

Some of the side attractions at the 2:00 pm event are face painting for kids, indoor games such as ludo, oware and a free photo shoot to record memorable moments.

Mettle has been known to headline the annual Praiz Reloaded concert where he brings Christians together in a time of praise and worship and he believes the family day out is no different.

“This is just a little twist to the much loved Praiz Reloaded. This is family oriented because we want to provide the platform to create harmony among Christian families and to deepen socialisation as well,” he added.

He launched his third album, Encounter, in October this year which had songs such as Oguan Hwefo Pa, Mensro, All I Want Is You, Ayeyi Nwom, Let It Rain, Sunsum Bra and Grace.

A former member of gospel music group, Soul Winners, Joe Mettle has shared the same stage with world renowned gospel artistes such as Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Micah Stampley and Alvin slaughter.

He launched his first album, My Gratitude, in 2011 and followed it up with Sound of Praise in 2013.
