Kwabena Kwabena breaks jinx with Bue Kwan

Hardly do secular musicians make an impact when they release a gospel song but Highlife singer, Kwabena Kwabena, seems to be breaking the ‘jinx’ with his gospel song, Bue Kwan.

Just  months safter promoting the song which is a track on his Daaakye album released in 2012, Bue Kwan is gradually worming its way into the hearts of music lovers.

The Daakye album also had songs such as Adult Muqik, Kyerewo do, Gye Me and Engya Meho.

Bue Kwan is a praise song which inspires everybody to hope for a good day. On the song, Kwabena Kwabena pleads with God to open opportunities for him to shine among his peers.

He thanks God for his life and his music career. As a musician who has influenced a lot of people with his love songs, Kwabena Kwabena told Showbiz the best he can do for the success he has achieved in his musical career is to praise God.

“I decided to do Bue Kwan to motivate people and also tell God how wonderful He has been to me. I am happy about the positive response I am receiving from the song”, he said.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, releasing a gospel song does not mean he is going gospel. He explained that from time to time, he would be doing a gospel song to worship and praise God.

Kwabena Kwabena since coming into the music industry has released hit songs like Akonoba, Donobi, Aso, Dabi, Bibiniba, among others.

He has won several awards including Highlife Artiste of the Year at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
