Naija wins big at MAMAs 2015

Most of the Nigerian artistes nominated in this year’s edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards(MAMAs) won the awards in the various categories.

Out of the 17 awards, Nigeria swept away about eight with D’Banj winning the maiden MAMA Evolution at the event held at the Durban International Convention Centre in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa last Saturday.

• Personality of the Year: Trevor Noah (South Africa)
• MAMA Evolution: D’Banj (Nigeria)
• Best International: Nicki Minaj
• Artist of the Decade: P-Square(Nigeria)
