He also commended the members of the party on the field for the accurate information about the turnout across the country, which he acknowledged, had been very low in all the 16 regions.

“We have been monitoring situations in over 40,000 polling stations across the country. Indeed, on average, the turnout is between 60 per cent and 65 per cent.
He, however, assured the teeming supporters that the NPP was winning the election.
The NPP General-Secretary also called on the Ghana Police Service and the security agencies to make sure that all polling and collation centres were safe.
That, he said, was because opponents of the NPP had sensed that they would be defeated and so they wanted to cause confusion in the strongholds of the NPP.
