Accra’s top DJs Mensah, Armani and Vyrusky at Pre Vals masked party
Three of Accra’s top disc jockeys will be raising the roof on the eve of Valentine’s Day when they perform at a mask themed house party in the capital.

Celebrity DJ and long serving DJ of rapper Sarkodie, DJ Mensah The Untouchable, Citi FM’s foremost DJ, DJ Armani and the most promising and much loved youthful DJ of Starr FM DJ Vyrusky, have been lined up to provide the best in current and previous bangers on the night.
The house party which would take place on 13th February at M-Ville, near the De Youngsters School at Adenta Housing Down will also feature some top musicians such as Kontihene and Kwesi Pee who will pass through to perform some of their top songs.
Botweburg, the organisers of the house party have dubbed it “The Pre-Valentine Masked House Party” and they hope to provide all attendees with masks that would be used to effectuate the theme of the party.
Botweburg, according to the organisers, is a name that describes communities in and around Ashale Botwe including Adenta, Nmai Dzorn, Ogbojo, St. Peters and Madina. The members of the organisng team all live within these communities.
“We felt that being around Valentine’s Day when lovers are always in search of lively places to spend an evening, we would put together this house party and invite people to take part with their lovers and friends as a prelude to Valentine’s Day,” said Kwame Gyan, a member of the organizing team.
He said it would be a big night of music, love sharing, free drinks, a lot of meat, and camaraderie as well as a night for networking. “Apart from having a good time with lovers and friends in a charged atmosphere of music , we also believe that it will be a night of great opportunity for networking considering the quality of people we have targeted to be present at the Botweburg house party.”
Apart from the three top DJs, there will be other DJs assisting them on the night. “It is going to be a long night from 8pm till 4am and we are going to make sure that the music continues to play as much as drinks continue to flow from the beginning to the end,” Gyan added.

Also to show up on the night to add to the charged atmosphere of the party are Hitz FM’s Drive Time host and the nation’s number one hype man Merqury Quaye, host of Drive Time on Joy FM Lexis Bill and presenter and head of programmes at Live FM Giovani.
“We are bringing these top presenters as the emcees and hype men for this party and anyone who has ever been to a party where Merqury, Lexis or Giovani have been present on the mic can attest to their penchant to create the best mood and party atmosphere,” said Dennis Awuah, another member of the organizing team.
“The “Pre-Valentine Masked House Party” is being organized by members of Botweburg and will take place at M-Ville at Adenta, however, attendance is not limited only to those within Botweburg,” explained Malcolm Ametepe a member of the organizing team. “After all it’s the season of love and we invite all people in Accra to join us at Botweburg to share in the love we are producing on 13th February,” he added.
Tickets for the Botweburg house party are going for GHS50 for couples and GHS30 for singles and the event is sponsored by Distell Ghana who will support it with some of the brands they market, including Hunter’s, Savanna, Amarula, and Knights whisky.
