Asomacy secures Sony Music deal
BUDDING Ghanaian artiste, Asomacy, has secured a deal with Sony Music West Africa through The Pep Entertainment (TPE).
The exciting development was announced on via Sony Music West Africa's Facebook page on Friday, July 19, 2024.

This feat follows the recent success of Asomacy's single, Why, which went viral on social media platforms, particularly TikTok.
At Sony Music, he joins notable Ghanaian artists such as Gyakie, F3lineofficial and Mayorkun, among others.
Speaking on the development, music executive Kwadwo Amoah, popularly known as Pep Junia, explained that they chose to partner Sony Music West Africa due to the company's outstanding support for emerging artistes.
“I have been working with him for some time now, and after travelling across the country with him as an opening act for rapper Kofi Mole, his potential as a consummate act became even more apparent to me," Pep Junia stated.
According to Asomacy, this achievement marks a significant advancement in his career and will help amplify his vision to learn, explore, and release new music.
“I believe this step will elevate everything we do to make that dream happen," he said.

Regarding his future, Asomacy, who draws inspiration from his life experiences and society, said: "Whatever the future holds for me depends on how much work and effort I put in today, so, I will keep doing what I've always loved."
Asomacy, real name Amoah John Godwin was born and raised in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. The old student of Accra High School’s passion for music was influenced by his older siblings, who often played music loudly at home.
He began writing his own songs at the age of 12 and started pursuing music professionally at age 15.
