Augustt Lyte ‘blows up’ with August Take Over
Fast rising DJ, Augustt Lyte has released the much anticipated Blow Up mixtape as part of his August Takeover project.

The August Takeover project comprises three mixtapes and one track.
In a chat with Showbiz, Augustt Lyte said “My August Takeover project launched this month is made up of three exciting mixtapes and one track.
“ Also, as part of the project, I am offering a book for free service in the month of August”, he added.
Talking about his DJ trade, Augustt Lyte said he has had good time but one he cherishes most is when he had a gig at Benin.
“ One of my best times was when I got big thumbs up for being an Anglophone DJ to “shake up” a Francophone event.
“It was a big crowd and I got an endorsement from one of Benin’s hottest artistes after the event. That was the day I got the opportunity to work with Benin record label, Adigoue Gboun Gboun, as a distributor”, he stated.
Born Augustt Light Selorm in Agbozume on January 24 1992 to Mr. Oliver Augustt and Mrs Favour Augustt, Augustt Lyte started music at an early age where he began making melodies with a mouth organ at the age of four.

Most of the melodies were popular songs at the time. At the age of six, he picked an interest in his church’s band. His love for music soared when he accompanied DJs to play gigs.
Augustt Lyte, a former student of St Peter’s Senior High School, is the country representative for digital music distribution, Channel Tunecore.
He is also signed on to Kuvie’s Label Villians Sounds.
