Beverly Afaglo: Stop sharing, promoting inaccurate information about her death - Family pleads

The family of late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has appealed to the public to desist from spreading falsehoods about her death as tributes continue to pour in.

In a statement shared by her elder sister, Royal Elorm on behalf of the family, they expressed concern over what they described as “false narratives” circulating on social media regarding Beverly’s health, treatment, and the circumstances leading to her passing.

“We, the family of Beverly Afaglo, kindly ask everyone to please stop sharing and promoting inaccurate stories and speculation surrounding Beverly’s passing,” the statement said.

The family further appealed for compassion and sensitivity during what they described as an extremely difficult period, urging the public to allow the actress to be remembered for “her strength, courage, and the love she had for her children and family, not misinformation and rumours.”

Beverly Afaglo died Saturday night. Her husband, Choirmaster, born Eugene Kwadwo Baah, announced the passing in an emotional social media tribute.

“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo,” he wrote. “It would have been just like four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you.” (Related article:Ghanaian actress and media personality Beverly Afaglo passes on)
