Black Sherif loses first BET Hip-Hop awards
Ghana’s hope of securing its first BET Hip-Hop awards has been dashed with Black Sherif losing the Best International Flow award to France’s Benjamin Epps at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop awards.
Despite the loss, Black Sherif has recorded many successes in less than a year including his latest song, Soja placing 23 on the Billboard Afrobeats chart.
The song ‘Soja,’ debuted on Apple Music Top 100 Charts within 24 hours of its release and it is currently peaking at No.1 on the Music Charts.
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards is a recognition ceremony held yesterday, October 4, 2022 as the 17th installment of the BET Hip Hop Awards. It was hosted by Fat Joe.
