Black Stars striker Emmanuel Boateng drops first song Tuesday
Black Stars and Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng is set to follow in the footsteps of skipper Asamoah Gyan by releasing his first song as a recording artist.
The 22-year-old has revealed that his love for singing started at church during his early years. The single will feature Famouz, (Vincent Adom Baffour and Umar Alidu) a duo whose hit "Nufuo no" enjoyed massive radio airplay in Ghana.

Revealing the motivation behind the song, Boateng said: "It is always important to remember where you started life from, the difficulties, the struggle, the challenges and how far God has brought you and if the blessing of God is unto your life no man can destroy it, when the hand of God is in your life whatever the devil will do will never be successful. Wherever good things are, that is where the devil eyes are, so it is always important to give glory to the Lord for what he has done and about to do. IN JESUS NAME,".
Boateng, known as the "Barca Slayer" had an outstanding first season in Spain, where he scored 6 La Liga goals (three against Barcelona to end their unbeaten run). He also netted against European Champions Real Madrid.
The former U-17 (Black Starlets)forward earned his debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana (The Black Stars) last month ahead of their friendlies against Iceland and Japan.
