Erykah attempts to kiss reporter live on television
Erykah Badu crashed a New York City television reporter's live broadcast on Friday and tried to give him a kiss before being pushed away.
The 43-year-old singer stood out in a large hat as she came up behind PIX11 reporter, Mario Diaz, as he was providing a remote update on the earlier arrest of actor, Shia LaBeouf.
Mario couldn't see Erykah behind him as she walked back and forth and pulled funny faces.
The R&B singer used her hands to make simulated sex symbols as she gaped with her mouth open, unbeknownst to the reporter.
Erykah also opened her black coat wide to reveal a colourful yellow and green blouse while Mario kept delivering his story.
The Next Lifetime singer then leaned in for a kiss while Mario was speaking but he gave her a firm forearm shiver to keep her at bay.
Erykah later turned to Twitter and apologised for her behaviour.
'@MarioPIX11 sorry Mario. :-))))),' she tweeted to her more than one million followers on Twitter.
Mario tweeted back that his wife and two-year-old child were about 20 yards away when Erykah bombed the live shot.
'After she figured out what really happened she laughed and said, ''Great taste.'' Next time I won’t do the NYC push back,' Mario wrote.
