French actress joins cast of Comatose in Lagos
French actress, Aissa Maiga jetted into Lagos, Nigeria last week to join Fabian Adeoye Lojede and other cast and crew on set for the filming of the second part of pan-African movie, Comatose, produced by 1Take Media.
According to the award-winning actress, she's very elated to be a part of this flick because it's her first English-language movie.

The cast and crew have just completed production in Durban, South Africa a fortnight ago where they filmed scenes with Hakeem Kae Kazim (Black Sails, 24, Hotel Rwanda, Gotham, Pirates of the Carribean and Man On Ground) who plays Dr. Kalu and Bimbo Akintola (Smoke and Mirrors, Beyond the Verdict 2, Out of Bounds) starring as Omowunmi.
The rest are South African acting veteran Mary Twala (Sarafina, Taxi to Soweto, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency) who plays the ill mother, Nana; along with Robert Whitehead (Isidingo, Diamond Hunters, Shaka Zulu) as Dr. Collins; and Deborah Lettner (Angel of the Skies, Casting Me, Beaver Falls) as Michelle.
Comatose tackles the issue of euthanasia and tells the story of two siblings in conflict over the future of their mother, who is in a coma.
The screenplay was co-written and co-produced by Fabian Adeoye Lojede and Mickey Madoda Dube, who is an international award-winning film, TV and commercials director and producer, and also director of Comatose.
The production is being supported by the South African Department of Trade and Industry, the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), and the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission.
