Here comes Mr Stickz with ‘Odo’ to change love story
19 years ago, Afrobeats musician, Mr Stickz started music eventually made a decision to exit the music scene to pursue other ventures of interest.

The decision landed him in the position of a successful entrepreneur in fashion as a beauty consultant and entrepreneur.
For almost over a decade, he made success on the field of product manufacturing, distribution and sales, which currently spans from hair care and household cleaning products among others.
He also founded the “Stickz Beauty Plug” where he mentors and tutors uncountable youths in Ghana.
But the flourishing business and its attendant success was not enough to push stick away from his first love of music. Mr Stickz is back and he didn’t come empty but with a full package in a song titled Odo.
On why he came back to his first love of music making, M Stickz said that he believes in God’s timing. “I have done an introspection and come to the realisation that I can’t allow this God given talent to go waste.
“However, it’s the absolute best decision I made 19 years back when I was in school. Being a beautician actually opens a lot of doors for me, and creates more opportunities for me. Life is not a bed of roses for some of us because the African environment has always been tough so one needs to find a way out to learn or create something viable to sustain them.
“And for me, the beauty world did it for me and also allowed me to implement my creativity to become a lucrative business today,” he said.

Mr Stickz’s new single, “Odo” means love in the Ghanaian Akan language. Even though Stickz has Yoruba and Swahili lineage, he said music is a universal language and doesn’t want to be limited to a particular culture.
