In a recent interview with 3 Music TV, she expressed her deep longing to find a soulmate and settle down, sharing her dreams of a perfect union in a response to a question by the host, Jay Foley.

“Of course, I want to get married. Who doesn’t want to have that one person that they can be with for the rest of their life and share moments and grow old with? I don’t want to be alone,” she expressed.

When asked about her ideal wedding, Efia Odo described it as an intimate affair, shared only with close family and friends, preferably in a foreign location.

Efia Odo, born Andrea Owusu, hais from Juaben in the Ashanti region. She previously resided in the United States, working as an assistant nurse, but chose to return to Ghana to pursue her true passions - acting and music - and has since become known in the entertainment scene, one that she said was unplanned.  (Related articles: Efia Odo: Don’t go chasing love, Tired of looking for love - Efia Odo, Efia Odo: Being celibate has been the best decision)

In a social video post last year, the media personality and actress asked young people not to chase love since it forced them to always settle for less.

She disclosed that she endured toxic relationships following her lack of self-love.

“Don’t look for love. Let love find you because I was in that space where I wasn’t looking for love. I was done with men.

“But then love found me. So don’t go looking for love. Let love naturally find you. Sometimes because you are looking and want it so bad, you have to settle for anything that comes.

“That’s why I say you have to love yourself. I was settling for less than what I deserved. The basic thing, this man couldn’t even do for me. I was so blinded by wanting love so bad that I was settling for way less than I deserve,” she said at the time.

This was coming at the time Efia Odo had publicly disclosed that she was giving up on love because she had been unlucky with men and suffered many failed relationships.
