“I’m hurt and disappointed about my false divorce” -Gifty Anti
Distinguished media personality and author, Gifty Anti has disclosed that she is hurt and disappointed by negative comments about her marriage which can derail her.
She noted that she has decided not to pay attention to them but stay focused since she has always been a target in the marriage.

Speaking in an interview with Joy Prime recently ahead of the launch of her book, “When Strong Women Cry” on Sunday, May 7, bemoaned the negative impact of the false claims about her marriage on her life.
“We have decided to talk at the appropriate time. It’s not the first time this had happened and obviously, I am the target. The people talking about me do not know me. They don’t know anything about me. So, what should I do? Go round telling everybody about it? I stay focused because these things can derail me. I am hurt, and disappointed”, she said.
Gifty Anti and Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa’s married in 2015. However, the union which is blessed with a daughter has been fraught with ceaseless rumours of separation.
Earlier in April, many online portals reported that Gifty Anti had kicked her husband out of their matrimonial home.
She admits that it’s difficult to speak one’s truth in the face of difficulties.
“It is difficult to really speak your truth these days, especially with all the attacks going on and because you are a strong woman and a feminist.

“This journey we are on, if you are not careful, you will be fighting and saving the world while you will be in a mess. In my book, there is a story of a woman who is saving the world but meanwhile, there is pain. This woman became diagnosed with depression because she was out there saving people,” she noted.
