It’s Husband Material 7 Yards from Roverman
PLAY after play every quarter, popular playwright Ebo Whyte has led his Roverman Productions to fondly set the agenda for discussion on pertinent subjects in society.
In the third quarter of this year, Uncle Ebo and his team marked 50th production with a He said, She Said in September.

This was after they had thrilled theatre patrons with I Slept With Your Wife earlier in the year.
The latest play from the Roverman’s camp is Husband Material 7 Yards and it tells the story of a couple, Joe and Charity, who start their day as any other day- with a bit of fighting, loving, money issues and the task of keeping three energetic kids in line.
With a great job and the backing of his powerful board chairman to count on, Joe and his wife have every reason to feel blessed. However, with an unpredictable future, Joe's life unexpectedly takes a fall and his wife and children find themselves facing disaster.
The play explores how he kept his family intact in the face of adversity bringing up possible questions of what qualifies one to be a good husband.

For instance, What is the measure of a husband? Is it seven yards? 12 yards or three yards? Can a husband’s quality be measured and if so, with what and by whom? His wife, his children or his suspected side-chick?
The play, labelled an Ebo Whyte classic is filled with a lot of humour and lessons and will show on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 at 4 pm and 8 pm respectively each day.
