I've got 50 more years to make waves in the industry – Stonebwoy
Reigning TGMA Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy, despite his impressive accomplishments in the music industry, humbly acknowledges that he still has a long and exciting journey ahead.
He admits that even though he's done a lot, he wants to keep making music for 50 more years.

"I am yet to work with Appietus in my career, so I have fifty more years to go. Nothing happen. If I am here to work with Appietus, you can just imagine," he said while acknowledging the contributions made by music producers such as Fredyma, Mix Master Garzy and Appietus during Telecel Ghana Music Awards held on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The Ghana Music Awards ceremony, hosted by Charterhouse Ghana, brought together important figures in the music industry. Stonebwoy performed and received his award plaques. He thanked the industry for their support, saying: "Thank you for supporting the Ghana Music Awards. This is our own award show, and I'm willing to work hard and win many more times to make Ghanaian music proud." Stonebwoy was the biggest winner at the 25th anniversary of the Ghana Music Awards, held in Accra, Ghana on June 1, 2024, by sweeping seven categories namely Best Reggae and Dancehall Artiste (a record-breaking eighth time), Best Album/EP, Best International Collaboration, Record of the Year, Best Songwriter, Best Collaboration and the coveted Artiste of the Year award.
