Jeffrey Nortey in race for GMA Best Actor in leading role award

The nominations for the upcoming Ghana Movie Awards have been announced, and talented actor Jeffrey Nortey has secured a spot in the highly competitive Best Actor in a Leading Role category.

Jeffrey Nortey, known for his impressive performances on screen, has been recognised for his outstanding work for his lead role in Edge of Emotions.

Jeffrey faces a stiff competition from the likes of Kwadow Nkansah Lil Win ( A Country Called Ghana), James Gardiner(Taste of Sin), Adjetey Annan(Pawn) and Anthony Woode(Kadora).

The event, previously scheduled for Tuesday, December 24, was postponed and would hold tomorrow, January 18 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The nominations list features a pool of talented actors, actresses, directors, and producers who have made significant contributions to the Ghanaian film industry in the year under review.

There will be 21 awards presented in categories such as Achievement in Cinematography, Achievement in Directing, Achievement in Editing, Achievement in Costume and Wardrobe, Production Design and Achievement in Sound Mixing and Editing
